About Artisjok bv
Artisjok is founded on the cradle-to-cradle concept, a new approach to the design of systems (invented by William McDonough and Michael Braungart). The essence of Cradle-to-Cradle philosophy lies in the concept of: food equals food. It models human industry on nature's processes in which materials are viewed as nutrients circulating in healthy, safe metabolisms. Artisjok aspires to integrate the Cradle-to-Cradle concept into the daily life of its user in a way that simplifies the philosophy. The products are developed in such a way that the user can make a choice when discarding it, whether to compost the product and so enter the object into the Food for Nature cycle or to return it for recycling so entering it into the Food for New Products circle. Our aim is to stimulate a growing economy, a healthy industry and flourishing environment.
