Harrie van Looijengoed begon in 2000 als ondernemer. De jaren daarvoor was hij al 25 jaar werkzaam als bakker bij verschillende bakkerijen. Toen de kans zich voordeed om een eigen bakkerij te beginnen, greep Harrie deze met beide handen aan. Na de start van de bakkerij in Putten, kwam er al gauw een grotere bakkerij in Nijkerk. In deze bakkerij wordt alles op ambachtelijke wijze bereid.
