About De Queer Boekenkast
De Queer Boekenkast is the only 100% queer bookstore in the Netherlands, located in Alkmaar. It was founded by Thomas Philip Acid and Valentijn Ringelberg to provide a sanctuary for the LGBTQ+ community. Opened in March 2023, the bookstore offers a curated selection of queer literature and hosts community events.
