Dyslexiezorg Noord-Nederland verricht onderzoek bij kinderen in de leeftijd van de basisschool, in het kader van de vergoede dyslexiezorg. Dyslexiezorg Noord-Nederland is aangesloten bij het Nationaal Referentiecentrum Dyslexie (NRD). Het NRD is een stichting die zorg draagt voor de borging van het Protocol Dyslexie Diagnostiek en Behandeling. Dit protocol is geaccordeerd door het College voor Zorgverzekeringen (CVZ). Dyslexiezorg Noord-Nederland heeft vestigingen in Dokkum, Drachten, Heerenveen, Joure, Jubbega, Makkum en Stadskanaal.
