About Kawan

Kawan - in the Indonesian language means 'buddy'. The idea behind Kawan emerged from the recognition that people have a wide range of musical tastes and preferences for events, but often lack friend groups with matching interests.

This often leads to people attending events alone, or for those who aren't comfortable with solo outings, missing out on concerts or parties they would love to attend, if only they had others to go with. We hope Kawan helps people discover their own tribes and communities through the events and experiences they love.
