About Landelijke Registratie Orthopedische Interventies LROI
In 2007 is de Landelijke Registratie Orthopedische Interventies (LROI) van start gegaan met het registreren van knie- en heupimplantaten. Inmiddels worden ook schouder- elleboog-, pols-, vinger- en enkelprothesen geregistreerd en gegevens over de behandeling van klompvoeten. Het doel van de registratie is om de kwaliteit van de orthopedische zorg te verbeteren en om slecht presterende implantaten eerder te kunnen signaleren en, indien nodig, de patiënten met deze implantaten te traceren.
