About MAASundayleague

The MAASundayLeague (MSL) is the student football league in Maastricht, created to provide students with a unique opportunity to share their passion for football in an organised and competitive setting. Since its foundation, the league has been driven by dedicated student organisers who ensure its growth and continuity.

Over its first four seasons, the MSL has hosted more than 60 teams, and today brings another 18 teams and over 340 players. The league has also offered opportunities for students to contribute off the pitch by working as referees, matchday content creators, or commentators while creating a friendly yet competitive environment for players from across the city.

With now over a thousand matches already organised and collaborations ranging from business sponsors to local partners such as the sports complex and the commune, the MSL has become one of the largest student sports associations in Maastricht. Organised entirely by students and managed on an annual 5-figure budget, the league continues to grow, innovate, and strengthen its role in the local student community.
