About Nederlands Tweelingen Register/BioPsy

The Netherlands Twin Register is part of the Biological Psychology department of the Vrije Universiteit (VU) in Amsterdam. We conduct medical and scientific research on a wide range of mental and physical health topics, including personality, child development, stress, psychology, and disease risk factors. Twins allow us to determine the degree to which differences between individuals are due to genetic and non-genetic factors.
