We are Schmitz Foam, a fourth-generation family-owned business since 1935, has been at the forefront of innovation and quality in the synthetic turf industry for over decades. Active in the synthetic turf industry since the late 1980s, Schmitz Foam has set industry standards in shock pad technology, focusing on player comfort & safety and environmental responsibility.

Schmitz Foam Products offers a rich shock pad range which includes: • ProPlay: Made from high-quality repurposed foam, ProPlay ensures outstanding performance, durability, and safety while supporting our commitment to recycling and reducing foam waste. It’s globally recognized for its shock-absorbing properties offering safety and a long lifespan for synthetic turf sport and play fields.

• ProField: A roll foam shock pad with up to 30% recycled content, featuring double-sided fleece for superior durability and shock absorption. ProField offers a cost-effective solution for contemporary synthetic turf sport systems.

What truly sets Schmitz Foam apart is our commitment to a circular economy. We recycle foam residues to create high-quality new foam products, that contribute to sustainable, healthy and safe sports and play environments in over 80 countries. Engineered and produced in our state-of-the-art facilities in Roermond (Netherlands) and Coldwater (United States), all products come with a 25-year warranty and meet strict international quality and environmental standards, including EN 15330-4.
