About Terminally Online

Terminally Online is an organization run by new media + digital culture MA students from the UvA, with the mission to connect students and researchers in the greater Amsterdam media scene. We hope to nourish the Amsterdam new media community and act as a resource for rising new media scholars by materializing the digital. We will promote the diverse media and digital culture events–talks, exhibitions, conferences, performances, etc– in Amsterdam and beyond. Our goal is to connect students with these happenings, empower students to join the research and art scene, and respond to the curiosities of our peers and faculty.

We hope to make the Amsterdam new media research and art scene more accessible by inviting guest speakers, facilitating reading groups, organizing outings to events, interviewing scholars and students, promoting work coming out of our field, and establishing a centralized events calendar.
