The Other Room was founded in 2014 by Ester Gould and Reijer Zwaan. Their creative collaboration first sparked with the festival hit film Strike a Pose, which premiered at the Berlinale 2016, was released in several European countries and the US and was acquired by Netflix. We handpick films and series that encourage reflection on the issues of our time; high-end productions that resonate both in the Netherlands and abroad.
