About Volkskantine
De Volkskantine is een nieuwe basisvoorziening voor betaalbaar goed eten, vergelijkbaar met openbaar vervoer, sociale woningbouw of de bibliotheek.
De missie van de Volkskantine is om in iedere wijk een basisvoorziening voor betaalbaar goed eten te realiseren. Zo kunnen we met z’n allen de omslag maken naar een dieet dat de planeet en onze gezondheid niet schaadt. De eerste Volkskantine is in maart 2022 geopend in Almere.
De Volkskantine is een initiatief van Public Food in samenwerking met Flevo Campus en mede mogelijk gemaakt door het Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie.
