Healthy & Affordable is a food surplus project of Sapient Social & Environmental Enterprises. It aims to reduce the amount of food being wasted in & around Amsterdam. We collect surplus fruit & veggies, which were discarded because of their shape, size, small defects, only one rotten in an entire box… unfortunately there are many reasons. Then we process what we saved, mostly through dehydrating, and then package is bio degradable packaging.

You can find our products via the online platform Boeren en Buren, and meet us at one of the pickup locations to collect your products :-) We sell only locally, within 100km of our production facilities, because this food moved enough already.
