KeyFilm is an Oscar nominated Dutch production company based in Amsterdam with an extensive international network of co-producers and financiers, and teams up with partners like ITVS, Eurimages, the British Film Institute, Al Jazeera, Netflix, RTL, NPO and many European broadcasters, funds, distributors and sales agents. Founder Hanneke Niens is experienced in co-producing with Europe, the Middle East and Australasia and (co-)produced over 20 drama series and 40 feature films with her team.

Succesful films include Bride Flight, Soof, Soof 2 and Soof 3 and So What is Love. In 2018 the international co-production The Reports on Sarah and Saleem won the Special Jury Award for best screenplay and the HBF Audience Award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. In 2021 the series Swanenburg was named most streamed series for NPO Start.

KeyFilm has a focus on new and young talent. Since mid-2021, producer Nynke Jurgens has been developing a slate of projects with her peers, focusing on subjects that matter to this generation. Among others, she produced the series Shotgun!, directed by Levi Verspeek and co-produced by Heat and BNNVARA, which was released in 2022/2023 and the mid-length film Hobi, written and directed by Aramis Garcia Gonzalez, nominated for Best Lead Role in a Short Film at the Netherlands Film Festival.
