LactaScreen offers the first European HMO testkit for breastfeeding mothers. According to the WHO, only breastfeeding is advised for the first six months. However, studies show that 20-25 % of the breastfeeding mothers are FUT2 (fucosyltransferase) deficient, and do not pass important HMOs such as 2'-FL to their baby's. LactaScreen gives confidence and supports mothers with their desicion to breastfeed.
