MSPR opposes the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestinian land, the blockade of the Gaza strip and the impunity with which the Israeli state acts when violating Palestinian human rights.

We must work together to ensure society's awareness and the realisation of accountability when war crimes are committed. We must support the establishment of freedom, equality, justice and peace for Palestinians.

The 1973 UN convention outlawing apartheid states that the term "shall apply to the following inhumane acts committed for the purpose of establishing and maintaining domination by one racial group of persons over any other racial group of persons and systematically oppressing them."​

The convention then lists a number of acts targeting a racial group (the UN definition of "racial group"​ includes ethnic, religious, or national groups), among them but not limited to the use of torture; arbitrary arrest and illegal imprisonment; denial of freedom of movement, expression, assembly and association; separation of the racial group into defined areas; expropriation of property belonging to the racial group; and cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment.

Many elements of apartheid are now practiced by the Israeli State.

The application of international law with regard to this occupation would greatly change the situation for both Israelis and Palestinians and would allow for a coherent solution to be found, unfortunately this law and UN resolutions are not applied due to our system's failures. We welcome all to discuss the situation with us and learn about the extreme human rights abuses that are taking place against Palestinians and the military occupation of Palestine which in 2016 entered its 49th year.
