Hailing from Utrecht, Netherlands, Oefenmeesters, which translates to "Practice Masters," is an electronic music platform with a compelling mission. Founded by friends and DJ/producers Bart Gresnigt (Creznight) and Teun Uijtdewilligen (Æcium) initially, Oefenmeesters is now skillfully navigated by Creznight.

The platform serves as a nurturing ground for emerging and exceptionally talented DJs and producers who may not yet have an extensive network. Oefenmeesters seeks to amplify their presence and craft, effectively turning them into the headlining artists of tomorrow.

At its core, Oefenmeesters is about forging connections and collective growth. Their strategy includes online music releases, primarily showcasing DJ recordings, and in its early days the organization of live streams. Oefenmeesters started with intimate events and has grown to host gatherings ranging up to 550 attendees.

However, Oefenmeesters isn't just about music—it's about community. They bring together individuals from the Dutch house and techno scene, fostering an environment where everyone learns and grows together. Their philosophy revolves around the notion that by collaborating and supporting each other, they can make a more significant impact than by working in isolation.

What sets Oefenmeesters apart is its penchant for unique event locations. Whether it's in a church, living room, historic Utrecht-based wine cellar, hair salon, or traditional clubs and bars, they infuse creativity and innovation into their gatherings. Their performances at several festivals have also become a celebrated hallmark.
