A multidisciplinary group of five students from Delft University of Technology will travel to Talcahuano, Chile to advise on a harbour expansion project. Together with Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción and local harbour authorities we will review dredging alternatives for the harbour navigation channel. Our project team, specialised in ports, waterways, offshore and dredging engineering, is excited to collaborate and share knowledge with the Chilean people. It is our challenge to find an optimal solution for the harbour expansion, while project time is limited.
