Over The Guardian - the ICU for the skies

The Guardian is a fully-equipped Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a Patient Transport Compartment (PTC) for commercial aircraft. Designed for single flights or short-term use, it significantly lowers the cost and environmental impact of transporting ICU patients over long distances.

The Guardian PTC and operating procedures are proprietary and designed with deep knowledge of ICU patient transportation. The design is a cooperation with experienced suppliers, to ensure that aviation and certification requirements are met. The Guardian is a product of Inflight ICU BV. We have developed The Guardian PTC for widebody aircraft, as the need is highest for long distance transportation of ICU patients.

We aim to transport our first patient in 2027.
