The Opportunity Chest's goal is to cut transaction costs (mostly bargaining costs) in areas of flexible pricing (such as negotiation) using game theory techniques.

Reaching an agreement has been problematic until now, as each party must reveal some sensitive information about what they are willing and not willing to agree to. The Opportunity Chest provides a platform for parties to reach an agreement without the revelation of any information unless agreement has been reached.
