Welcome to our page!

We are team Turquaze Turkish Folk Dances and were founded in 1998. A large team in the Netherlands consisting of 25 dancers has the ambition to use our passion as a hobby and to expand the folk dance culture and take it into Europe.

We participate in various folk dance festivals across Europe. We also perform at various championship matches.

In 2016, for example, we came second in the Dutch Turkish Folk Dance Championships organized by Altays.

In addition to Folk Dancing, we have established our passion as Henna Concept. We perform with different dance concepts at Henna parties for the brides.

In 2019 we started a new project with Turkey. We are taught by various dance teachers from the well-known Turkish Folk Dance Group: Tuana Sanat Izmir. Thanks to the founder of the dance school Tuana Sanat Izmir, Mrs. A. Kuruç.
