Wijnne Barends, established in 1855 developed into Europe’s leading Short Sea Specialist. Now we also offer transatlantic routes and total transport from and to inland waterways combined with sea transport. Our main navigation area is from the White Sea to the Black Sea: Scandinavia, the Baltic States, Western Europe and the Mediterranean. Fleet Wijnne Barends’ young and well-maintained fleet is tailored seamlessly to market requirements. High cubic and multi purpose. Ideal for the transport of high-volume dry cargoes such as timber products, grain and turf, but also heavier products such as steel and aluminium, containers and project cargo. Tonnage Our fleet comprises of similar sister ships and series tonnage classes, we always have a ship in position to meet your requirements, quickly and efficiently. Wijnne Barends is ISO 9002 and ISM certified, and all of our ships sail under the Dutch flag.
